For architect Nigel Coates, this was one example
of two murals for the reception
of The Honeymoon Hotel completed in Sapporo, Japan in 1991.
Designed around the idea of the illustrated covers of vintage
boys own annuals. The reception desk was made in the shape of
a ships prow.
